GOOD WORKS! - IS WORKING !!
AT CALVARY EPISCOPAL CHURCH, FLETCHER NC - MAY 30,2019
Today I spent a great day working with the men and women of the GOOD WORKS! PROGRAM crew from Church of the Advocate out at Calvary Episcopal Church, Fletcher NC.
Calvary has such a beautiful church campus and grounds that it was a blessing to work alongside and with the men and women who are part of the GOOD WORKS! PROGRAM that Church of the Advocate offers.
This is a work program which assists those in the community who are in need of not just work, but fellowship while working to obtain housing and other basic needs. This is where the words of Jesus are seen in action and deed and where true communion exists. A blessing was given, lunch was shared and enjoyed, and work was a gift in His service.
I am tired, a little sun burnt, but ready for my next opportunity to work with and beside the GOOD WORKS! PROGRAM in the greater Asheville community.
