December 31, 2021 - Serving Continues and so does COVID

As of December 31, 2021- Serving Continues and so does COVID !

Dear Friends and Advocates,

I trust you had a meaningful and merry Christmas. And now, it's New Year’s Eve and time to look forward to what God has in store for us in 2022! However, for now, we are having to be sober and cautious about the realities of the evolving Covid dynamics.

After having checked with the leadership at Church of the Advocate, we will suspend our Sunday indoor worship service and our Tuesday Prayer Circle for a few weeks and plan to re-open on Sunday Feb. 13th.  We will continue to prepare hot to-go meals on Sundays at 2:00 pm. These to-go-meals meals and Personal Supplies will be served out of our Red Door entrance on Church St.

Our Good Works! crew will continue going out into the community during this time to offer assistance wherever it is needed.

As soon as the COVID numbers go down and the situation stabilizes, we will return to our group gatherings.  We all hope that ability to have larger gatherings will return in the future but the blessings and fellowship that we can do now, will continue.

A happy and safe new year to us all,

Dena+
