December 2021 - The Fourth Sunday in Advent

December 2021- The Fourth Sunday in Advent

and Serving Continues

Our Fourth Advent Sunday service was a time of worship, praise and wonderful music with a hot meal. Our thanks to Trinity Episcopal for being our partners in the community, thanks for a festival of music brought this week by Sarah and Kevin along with all the students, thanks for Chef Eric and Wicked Weed Brewing for supplying the yummy smoked chicken and for the youth from The Cathedral of All Souls bringing cookies, rolls and smiling eyes.
As we approach our 25th of serving the community we have been blessed with an abundant food supply and the ability to continue our weekly Sunday meal for the jobless and homeless during this pandemic. Our weekly Tuesday Circle of Healing and Prayer Circle also continues at 930am followed by a bag lunch. Observing mandated social distancing and procedures, these services have limited attendance with hand sanitizer and masks supplied if you do not have your own.

We all hope that our ability to have larger gatherings return in the future but the blessings and fellowship that we can do now, will continue.

THERE IS MORE!  Meals to go, "The Well" (Nursing and Social Welfare help), Basics-to-Go (Health and hygiene items), Sole Mates (shoes) and personal prayers upon request.
