The Red Door is a place to be in community with others, find acceptance, and create lasting friendships. You will find men, women and children who are living on the margins breaking bread and working alongside those who are well-resourced. There are no judgements. We all have something to share.
The Red Door/Church of the Advocate is open for Worship each Sunday at 130pm
and provides a Sunday meal at 230pm with meals and "Basics-To-Go" including healthcare.
We also meet Tuesday mornings at 930am for a Circle of Healing and Prayer
Masks and social distancing observed at our Sunday and Tuesday gatherings. We continue to wear masks for the safety of all attending and out of respect for the health of anyone with a compromised immune system.

Since 1997, Church of the Advocate has been serving Asheville’s homeless by nourishing bodies and souls. While we are an outreach ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Western North Carolina, participation in our service and programs is open to all. We hope you’ll consider getting involved as a volunteer, congregant and/or donor.
